(are you sure we aren't long lost sisters or something... we seem to be on the same page on so many thing... :smile: ) I absolutely love the Olympics! I have ever since I was a little girl. I was so excited when they split up the winter and summer rotation... because it meant that I got to see an Olypics every 2 years instead of 4. I know it's because I not only got to cheer the USA on but also to see everyone compete on a world platform... on a stage where everyone was equal and anything could happen. We are so very sheltered here in the US and things like this help us to get a glimps of the rest of the world. I so agree! I really got alot out of it and even since I've last posted on the comments of that post... I've been contemplating even letting the V-chip be turned off for R-rated movies... I'm still mulling that one about in my head. I don't know about books... to some they have more value as artistic expression... but like many of the RUers who commented on the v-chip issue on my blog, I'd just be open for discussion on issues that may arise in the book. that was a good discussion… wasn’t it?
